Pelorus Consulting is a management consultancy that specialises in the professional services firms sector.

Its team wanted to re-brand and re-position and promote more lead generation.

Their previous site was not helping them reach and enroll clients or differentiating them from the competition.

The creative brief began with brand and UVP discovery through audience, competitor and industry research.

Execution comprised creative concept development, preparation of all key messaging, visual collateral, new website design, all website content, including blogs and white papers.

Sompting Abbotts is an independent school. Its marketing and existing 'brochure' website were failing to attract enough new parents or web traffic.

The management team wanted to improve user engagement and boost lead generation.

The creative brief began with brand and UVP discovery through audience, competitor and industry research and creative concept development.

I undertook a complete re-brand, a website re-design away from WordPress to a new Squarespace platform, and development of a digital and innovative content marketing and social media campaign. This was targeted to appeal to the school’s increasingly millennial parent audience.

Results: Website traffic increase of +169% and enrolment increase of +39.7%. The site won the UK Content Awards 2019.

Blizard Communications Inc specialises in copywriting and content marketing for cybersecurity and technology companies such as IBM, Micosoft and Forcepoint.

I worked with the consultancy to create the branding concepts and all content for a new website and also delivered the website design using a Squarespace platform.

Priorities were to convey Blizard Commnication's expertise, deliver strong SEO and boost lead generation.

The new site now hosts the service offerings and serves as an effective content marketing platform for the company.

Website Copywriting

Link Global Management is a contractor services company, offering employment models including umbrella, limited company and self employment for contractors working internationally.

I worked alongside their website designer to produce new content for their new site. The goal was to generate increased volumes of relevant visitors, convert more visitors into enquirers and improve efficiency of managing sales enquiries across the group.

The creative brief included the preparation of key messaging, SEO website content and liaison with designer.

Virtusa Corporation (NASDAQ GS: VRTU) is a global provider of Digital Business Transformation, Digital Engineering, and Information Technology (IT) outsourcing services that accelerate our clients’ journey to their Digital Future.

Their marketing manager wanted content for a new client-facing website (and collateral) for their new division, xLabs, a department of innovators, designers and engineers that showcased the hub and solutions, Blockchain, AI, API and Microservices capabilities.

Website Copywriting

This project followed the merger of employment services group Walker Smith into one entity formed from three other companies providing payroll, tax, accountancy and HR services to recruitment agencies and independent workers.

Its mission is to support 'the new world of work' and to allow everyone the freedom to work flexibly and profitably.

The creative brief included brand discovery and the preparation of key messaging for its different audience segments and UVP for the new company Workr Group, all website content and liaison with developer and designer.

Facebook advertising copywriting

Selling a high-value ‘product’ such as an independent school education requires long-term nurturing.

This was a strategic Facebook ad campaign, run across one month, to attract prospects to discover the education on offer at a Sussex independent school.

The goal was to persuade them to enter the school's enrolment funnel.

I began with an ‘awareness’ phase, targeting a segmented cold audience of parents of under-12s within a defined geographic area. Short video ads were used to highlight the school’s USPs of small classes, child-focused education and outdoor learning.

For the 'consideration' phase, engaged ad viewers were retargeted with videos ads that gave deeper authentic insight into the school.

This engaged warm audience was retargeted again for the 'conversion' phase with invitations to attend an Open Day. Lead gen forms were used to remove friction as these are automatically populated by Facebook with user details.

The campaign resulted in 23 sign ups to the Open Day event, the best result for the school ever.
